Originally from Wisconsin, I have lived in Washington, the state, before settling in the South Bend area and joining the Notre Dame Faculty in 1998. My interests are in curriculum development, teaching, and coaching and I have studied a variety of learning strategies, which emphasize the multiple intelligences. I believe strongly in the ND family and enjoy working with students as they proceed through their college experience. My hobbies are sports, especially swimming, traveling and spending time with my dog Mocha. My husband Rick and I have two children and a son in-law, all graduates of ND.
