Notre Dame Students Attending Summer Session at Notre Dame
Your decision to attend the Summer Session at Notre Dame versus another institution should be made after careful consideration of your academic requirements and costs.

For students attending a study abroad program through the Office of International Studies, please contact your program coordinator for cost of attendance.
When to Apply
The Summer Session Undergraduate Financial Aid Application is usually available on the Office of Financial Aid website in mid to late February. To receive priority consideration, your Summer Session Financial Aid Application should be submitted to the Office of Financial Aid by March 30.

Summer Session Financial Aid Opportunities
Federal loans (Direct Loans and Direct PLUS Loans) and private educational loans are available to assist students with their Summer Session financing needs. Information and application procedures are available on our website.
Summer employment is coordinated by the Department of Human Resources. Students may apply for summer employment at jobs.nd.edu in early March.
Athletic Grant-in-Aid recipients should contact Alexis Wolf, in the Office of Financial Aid, for information about grant-in-aid and housing for Summer Session.
Summer Aid Adjustments
Since enrollment periods vary during the summer your aid may be prorated based on your personal summer enrollment period. Please note that summer disbursement cannot occur until 10 days prior to your first day of summer enrollment.

Notre Dame Students Attending Summer Session at another Institution
Notre Dame students who elect to attend summer school at another institution are encouraged to consult with an academic advisor to ensure that the course work will be transferable to Notre Dame. Although not guaranteed, Notre Dame students may submit a Financial Aid Consortium Agreement to their host institution. The completed Consortium Agreement must be submitted to the University of Notre Dame Office of Financial Aid before any financial aid can be finalized or loan applications certified.

Non-Notre Dame Students Attending Summer Session at Notre Dame
Students who are visiting the University for the Summer Session are not eligible for financial aid through Notre Dame. Visiting students should contact their home institution regarding consortium arrangements.
