How do I obtain a student job?

It is the student's responsibility to secure employment. The Student Employment JOBboard is a great place to begin your search. The JOBboard is updated regularly as new positions become available. You may also visit Obtaining a Student Job for additional information.

What is the difference between Campus Employment and Federal Work-Study?

Campus Employment is a non need-based form of student aid. Students with Campus Employment are eligible to work on campus.

Federal Work-Study is a need-based form of employment subsidized by the federal government. Students with Federal Work-Study are eligible to work on campus and at participating community service agencies.

How do I access my Federal Work-Study award through insideND?

Your work eligibility can be found in your Financial Aid Award. Log into insideND with your netID and password, select the "Student Academic" tab, and click on the "+" sign next to Financial Aid.

Why isn't my Federal Work-Study/Campus Employment credited to my student account?

Students who have a campus job are paid bi-weekly via direct deposit to their personal checking or saving accounts for the number of hours worked. Since students are paid directly, these funds do not appear as a credit on the student's account.
