New Unsubsidized Stafford Loan
eligibility for 2008/2009

As a result of legislation passed in May 2008, undergraduate students are eligible to borrow up to an additional $2,000 from the Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan Program.  A summary table outlines the updated amounts. 

Eligible students must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and are subject to the terms and conditions of the Federal Stafford Loan Program.  As always, taking on debt for any reason should be done deliberately and only for the amount needed.
