Description of Position |
The Volunteer Coordinator will work primarily with the recruitment and coordination of student volunteers, while supporting after-school programming needs of youth participants at the Robinson Community Learning Center. Participate in Volunteer recruitment fairs; talk with professors, staff, etc. Schedule volunteers acording to RCLC program needs and whenever possible, the specific interests of volunteers. Support the Tutoring Program Coordinator in collaboration with Notre Dame's Center for Social Concerns. Work with Tutor Tutoring Program Coordinator to recruit volunteers and to provide direction and guidance to volunteer tutors. |

- Must be eligible for FEDERAL WORK STUDY position. If you do not have Federal Work Study, please consider tutoring with us as a volunteer or visit another job posting for the RCLC. - Strong interest in education. - Detail oriented and well organized. - Energetic, positive attitude and a commitment to improving university-community relations. - Excellent interpersonal skills to work with children, peers, faculty and staff. |
