The College of Engineering Learning Center's Mission and Goals The goal of the Engineering Learning Center is to foster hands-on, multidisciplinary activities with the College, not only for first-year intents, but for students at all levels. In addition to daily activities, it is used as a testbed for developing innovative teaching and learning methods. Departments using the Center are actively involved in creating courses and projects that promote collaborative and interactive learning where students will analyze, design, build, test, and communicate their findings, preparing them to function as engineers within a multidisciplinary setting.
