The Midway Tavern was written up in People Magazine for its colorful history. During the Prohibition era it was a speakeasy, and was visited by Al Capone and his friends when they traveled Route 12 between Detroit and Chicago, procuring the fermented fruits of Windsor, Canada. A great room!
