I understand that if I am selected to participate in the Notre Dame Research Workshop on Riots, Protest and Activism REU project, I am making an academic year commitment to participate in the project. I understand that participation in the project includes:
(1) Taking a 3-hour course both semesters of the school year:
(2) Development of a research proposal (either as sole researcher or as joint researchers with another student on the project) during the first semester of participation and completion of the proposed research project during the second semester.
(3) Presentation of your final project at a conference or sociology department seminar.
