Well, the season is over, and although it didn't come with football success, it definitely ended with some great band halftime shows!!!

Only two weeks of the band season left... Everyone who is coming into town this weekend should get excited for an AMAZING show. There's going to be tons going on... I don't want to give too much away, but I'll post some pictures later.

Alright, so maybe the season hasn't gotten off to the greatest start... We may be 0-5, but the 'net section is still going strong! Yesterday we beat the piccolos in section football, way to go 'nets! Just one more win and I've been told that Billy will be getting you all the "sticky gloves"... Get excited!

It's been quite some time since this site has been updated. I'm going to be working very hard this year to make sure the this website is at it's absolute best! I'd like to say congrats to all of the new members to the section! Band camp this year was much more hectic than it normally is, and everyone did an amazing job! Get excited for a great year. Kick off is in exactly 4 days!

We have some very exciting news as well. Christine Loza, a senior clarinet is one of our assistant drum majors! We are very excited to have another clarinet up on the ladder, so tell her congrats if you see her!

Ok, I know it's been a while since i've updated the site, but if you'll forgive me we have a very special announcement to make.

Congratulations to Jeff Serpas and Katie O'Sullivan for being selected Head and Assistant Drum Major!! These two worked really hard so make sure you congratulate them when you see them. Next year is gonna be great, and once again 'Nets will control the band.

You may not believe it, but it's true - we officially have a 'Net shirt for 2002! Take the time to thank Candice and Brian for the idea, and their hard work at getting the shirt to us before the close of the season ;-) . Also, keep checking the Net Poll for voting concerning section events. You'll be getting an e-mail for instructions.

One month into the fall semester and the year has already exceeded everyone's expectations! With a 4-0 record (when's the last time that happened?) and a top ten ranking in both polls, Irish Football has begun its assent towards greatness once again. Congrats to the team, the Band and the 'Nets for making saturday a game to remember. GO IRISH! BEAT CARDINAL!

Our VERY OWN Jessica Boehm was named HEAD DRUM MAJOR (2002-2003) of the Band of the Fighting Irish today. Make sure you give that cutie a big wet kiss when you see her!

How time flies
Sorry I haven't updated this page like I should have. Been quite busy keeping the band site up and running. I've added some new pictures on the photos page and "increased security" on the MNC page. (It seems someone leaked the password)!!! It's been a great season everyone. Don't forget about the Net Dinner coming soon. Peace out.

Summer is almost here!
I just wanted to thank everyone for a fantastic year.  We are really going to miss you, Seniors. This year wouldn't have been the same without you. Have a GREAT and SAFE Summer, and I'll be seeing ya'll at band camp in a few short months. Peace Out

Bruised... But Not Broken
Today we lost our football game to the Faltos. It's ok though because we are still the better section. The game was lots of fun, and everyone had a good time. Next time we play them we'll win... I hope. If only we could all tackle as well as Erica : )

Poll Problems
It seems that there have been some people who have been messing with the polls and voting numerous times. (Example: Beth suddenly had 131 votes for 'Net Ho, and we all know that Beth isn't a Ho. Erica is : )  Whoever did this didn't allow there computer to accept cookies, and it let them vote as many times as they liked.  I'm changing poll services to one that has better options. I know I'm anal, but it's more fun if it's done right.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Juniors

Page Updates
Well, the page is coming along nicely. We've had some more alumni writing us, and I've added them to the Alumni page. We also have some really great pictures from last year and this year thanks to Erica and Kelly. Any other pictures you might have would be appreciated. Seeing as how Pat is the reigning "Crazy net man," I've added a new poll below. I've also added a 2000 Net Directory (the red link can be found lower on this page). If you go there, you can download the directory (if you want) in .pdf format. I think that's about it. *If anyone has the Net Tape from 1998 and 1999 and could e-mail me with the names of the songs, that would be great.* Well, good luck studying for finals. -->
