Chicago Fact Finder is a searchable database containing Census information for Chicago, Cook County, and the six-county metropolitan area. A unique additional feature is that it also provides detailed information about the people who live in each of Chicago’s 77 community areas and in 59 towns and villages of suburban Cook County. With Chicago Fact Finder, you can search for information about specific racial and ethnic groups or about the general population within these localities and identify trends by comparing data from the 1990 Census and Census 2000.

Chicago Fact Finder is produced and maintained by the University of Notre Dame’s Institute for Latino Studies. Its construction was supported by a grant from the Chicago Community Trust.
