This guy considers himself a natural philosopher. As a human being, I spend a lot of time trying to learn how to use tools and to create new tools. This has led me to pursue an education at Notre Dame's department of Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering.

I am very passionate about human colonization of space. In case you haven't realized it yet, humans are an endangered species in the Universe. Even worse, some might even say we are fish in a barrel. As a tool-using species, us humans are uniquely in control of our own extinction. When do you think humans should go extinct? When we solve world peace or world hunger? When our star becomes a Red Giant? When the Milky Way has dissipated all of its energy? The Big Freeze?

The degree to which we, as a species, colonize space dictates the demise of the human species.
