Important Arrival Information

As noted in the agenda, the conference will begin Friday, May 30, with breakfast at 7:45 at the Chicago GSB campus. 

When you arrive Friday, please enter via the Basinghall Street Entrance. 

From there, you will need to collect an electronic access pass from the security guards on duty (who will have a list of conference attendees).   You will be issued an electronic pass that will allow you access into the building for the duration of the conference.  Please be aware that there may be a slight wait for badges, and there may be a bottleneck, if you all intend to arrive at 7:45; please plan accordingly to ensure this does not happen.  Your passes will provide access until the close of the conference on Saturday, at which time you will return them to Lorie Marsh.

If you have made prior arrangements for your spouse/partner to attend the Friday evening dinner, a paper pass will be held at security in the Bassinghall Street reception area for pick up Friday evening by your significant other.

You will need to come in via the Coleman Street entrance on Saturday
because the Bassinghall Street entrance is not open weekends.

Once you arrive upstairs at the GSB, please collect your name badge, name tent, agenda, and a building guide at the reception desk prior to entering the lounge or the auditorium.  You will find Peter and I in either the auditorium or the lounge.

The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business European Campus is located in the Woolgate Exchange building, right in the City of London, the highly esteemed financial district. “The City”, as it is known, is home to one of the world's greatest concentrations of brokerages, insurance companies, law firms, and banks—including the Bank of England. The GSB is within easy walking distance of several public transport stations that will connect you to the rest of London.
